Washington State Immunization Summit 2023
Thank you for attending the 2023 Washington State Immunization Summit!
Thank you to all our IACW members and partners who attended the Immunization Summit on May 25, 2023. Over 300+ people attended in-person and online! We accomplished this year’s Immunization Summit goals of:
- Providing tools, skills and knowledge to be successful in equitably improving vaccination rates
- Celebrating and highlighting the work of the immunization community
- Sharing lessons learned and experiences through the COVID-19 pandemic
- Providing an opportunity to learn about emerging and ongoing immunization best practices to apply to diverse communities
Topics included lessons learned from COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, community-based initiatives, “HPV at 9” in Washington State, practical strategies to addressing vaccine hesitancy, and the current state of immunizations in Washington.

- Sign in and confirm your contact information at the check-in table.
- Turn in the attendance form provided at check-in before leaving.
General Information about Continuing Education
- There is no cost for continuing education credits.
- Continuing education credits for the Summit will be awarded through August 25, 2023.
- Successful completion of this continuing education activity includes the following:
- Attendance at 1 or more in-person or virtual sessions (credit commensurate with participation)
- Completing the evaluation after the event
- Specifying which type of continuing education you wish to obtain on the evaluation
Please note: CE certificates are NOT generated after evaluation completion — CE certificates will be emailed by DOH and the CME provider within a few weeks of evaluation completion. Certificates will be emailed to the address provided on the sign-in sheet or evaluation.
Continuing Medical Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Federation of State Medical Boards and the Washington Medical Commission.
