Building Immunity, Strengthening Community- A Virtual Training Series on Immunizations for Health Professionals

Vaccinators rely on evidence-based training and resources as they deal with burnout, vaccine fatigue, and uncertainty about future federal support.
That’s why WithinReach, in partnership with the Washington Department of Health, American Indian Health Commission, and local coalitions and partners, is excited to announce “Building Immunity, Strengthening Community“ a virtual training series.
Calling all vaccinators and immunizers! Register today for this four day event will bring together health professionals (doctors, nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, physicians’ assistants, and nurse practitioners) from across Washington and the region for immunization fundamentals, best practices, and strategies to increase vaccine confidence.
When: June 2 – 5, 2025
Time: 12:00 – 2:00 pm PDT
Where: Virtual – Zoom Webinar (recordings will be available to registrants following the series).
Who: This training is designed for immunization advocates and clinicians or “vaccinators” including doctors, nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, physicians’ assistants, and nurse practitioners.
What to Expect:
- Gain essential immunization knowledge, learn best practices and strategies to increase vaccine confidence, and combat vaccine fatigue.
- Connect with fellow health professionals across Washington state and reignite your passion for community vaccination.
- Virtual and in-person opportunities to watch the Shot in the Arm documentary film.
Continuing Education: Up to 8.0 CEUs will be available. Specific details are listed below.
Event Schedule


Registration Details
- Early Bird: $50 per person available through April 28, 2025.
- Standard: $75 per person available from April 29, 2025, through June 5, 2025.
Please be aware that registrations submitted after May 19 will not be eligible to receive physical course materials or swag items, as WithinReach is unable to accommodate mailing them within the given timeframe.
Recordings will be available to registrants who are unable to attend one or more live sessions.

General Information about Continuing Education
- There is no cost for continuing education credits
- Up to 8.0 continuing education (CE) credits are available for nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and physicians.
Continuing Medical Education (CME)
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the California Medical Association (CMA) through the joint providership of Cardea and WithinReach. Cardea is accredited by the CMA to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Cardea designates this live web-based training for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this continuing education activity for CME includes the following:
- Attending 1-8 sessions.
- Completing the online evaluation.
- Submitting an online CE request.
Successful completion of continuing education activity for nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians includes the following:
- Attendance at 1 or more virtual sessions (credit commensurate with participation)
- Completing the post-event evaluation after the webinar series
- Creating an account or logging in to TRAIN.org, search, and register for each of the WA 2025 Building Immunity, Strengthening Community Virtual Series webinars or recordings.
Continuing Nursing Education
This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Up to 8.0 contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of this activity.
Continuing Education for Medical Assistants
Up to 8.0 administrative/clinical/general continuing education units were approved by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). Granting approval in no way constitutes endorsement by the AAMA of the program content or the program’s sponsor.
Continuing Pharmacy Education
This knowledge-based activity was approved by the Washington State Pharmacy Association for up to 8.0 contact hours.
